will be there to discuss the
impact of the current contract
details and how they affect your
money, retirement, and retirees'
benefits. The meeting starts at
1830hrs @ the Union Hall.

BALLOTS, OR OTHER CORRESPONDENCE FROM CWA!!!
     You are entitled by law to union representation. Don't be misled
into thinking you won't need it!  
YOU MUST REQUEST UNION
REPRESENTATION;
the Company is not required to offer it and usually
won't.  If called into a meeting with management, read the following to
them before the meeting starts:
“If this discussion could in any way lead to my being disciplined or
terminated, or affect my personal working conditions, I respectfully
request that my union representative, officer, or steward be present at
this meeting. Without representation present, I choose not to
participate in this discussion.”
     You may call the Local at 601-922-5200 for representation and
you do not have to answer any questions until your representative
arrives.
  • You DO NOT have to write or sign ANY statement for theCompany
    Company. (If you do, request a copy).
  • If the Company requests for you to sign a document, write in "I
    don't understand", "I don't agree", or something similar to prevent
    the company from sneaking unsigned documents in your file at a
    later time. (Remember, your supervisor is NOT your friend and will do
    what he/she must to cover their own ass!)
  • When asked a question by the Company, if you don't recall, say
    you don't recall. (Don't try to fill in the gaps or guess).
  • You have the right to information regarding the subject of the
    meeting before you participate.
  • You have the right to consult with your Union Representative
    before and/or during the meeting.
  • DO NOT FORGET: YOU MUST REQUEST UNION
    REPRESENTATION, the Company isn't obligated and usually
    won't offer it.

                                   **ATTENTION  ALL  MEMBERS**
Beginning August 13, employees will no longer receive a printed paycheck stub. If you want to continue
receiving your check stub in the mail go to
http://processcenter.web.att.com/ . After Login click the letter "E"
from the alphabetical list (a-z) or scroll down to
'eLink Paycheck Stub Print Exception', select 'Submit New
Request'
, then select 'Paystub Print Exception' from the Request Type drop-down list. It says there are
only two valid reasons for you to still receive a paper check stub, but during bargaining it was agreed that
anyone who
WANTED to keep getting a mailed stub could do so rather than just those who have no access to
eLink or a printer. Select one of the two 'reasons' and then click 'Submit For Review'. IF YOUR REQUEST
IS DENIED CALL YOUR LOCAL STEWARD AND FILL OUT A GREIVANCE FORM IMMEDIATELY!
